![]() We were losing 0-3 to the fucking cheating Huston Astros. BUT the new chairs are higher and getting up is easy peasy. I have to get up to let people pass or to cheer and it was a bitch. One problem I always had before was that it was really hard to get on my feet from those chairs. One weird thing in both sections this year is that the seats are higher off the ground. The menu is a little huger in the Diamond Club and I do wish we had that menu in the Press Club but, really, that is THE only thing better. My seat in the Press Club is a much bigger, nicer seat with a table and lots of leg room but one level above home plate.īesides full dinner and drinks, you also get, included in the price, a huge menu of stuff you can order from your seat - drinks, food, blankets. You can pretty much chat with the guy on the on deck circle getting ready to bat. They are cushy and nice but crunched up and crowded. The seats for the Diamond Club are the first 8 rows behind home plate. The menu is exactly the same as the Press Club (where my ticket is now). I've been curious about the new experience and last night put an end to that. And also doubled the price which is one of the main reasons I didn't buy my ticket there this year. Last night's game was wild in so many ways.įirst of all, the Diamond Club - which is where I've had my ticket for the last few years - had a huge redesign of the eating/bar area. I hosed up some orders nearly beyond repair but got a very nice, customer service person who worked so hard on untangling. I have spent the morning in chat with Amazon.
